Double Action Revolver Mounts
Aimtech mounts attach easily using the threaded holes already in the revolver. No drilling, no tapping. AMS series mounts for older revolvers without tapped holes under the rear sight make scope mounting easy using the tapped holes in the sideplate. Proper length screws are supplied with the mounts.
Newer revolvers have tapped holes under the rear sight and make mounting a scope very easy with the Double Option scope mount. Simply remove the rear sight and mount the unit. The scope mount base is also an open rear sight on the Double Option series, while the AMS series allows you to view your original sights through a site track machined into the mount. After mounting, you have both open sights and a scope. The Double Option series includes a green, red and black rear sight insert. (see above). Both series of Aimtech mounts accept Weaver style rings and electronic sights.
