What is difference between a Remington ADL and BDL factory rifle stock?

The factory BDL stock has a hinged floor plate, fancy endcaps on the forearn and bottom of grip, a high gloss finish on the wood and metal, and a high quality of walnut in the stock. The ADL stock is cut the same as the BDL except is has no hinged floorplate and no endcaps and the wood used in the stock is a little lesser quality than the BDL.

Is my Savage a long or short action?
Some of the older long action Savage 110 rifles will take the traditional short action calibers like 223,243 or 308. This has caused some confusion because the newer short action model 10 rifles are in these calibers. The best way to tell what action length you have is to measure from center to center of the action screws. The long action is 5.062 inches center to center, the short action is 4.275 inches center to center.

All Syn-Tech® stocks come with a premium recoil pad, swivel studs and the length of pull can be shortened up to 2 inches for customization.

Syn-Tech 2-Piece Rifle Stocks

Some hunting rifles, especially automatics or guns with scopes, can get rather heavy. Lighten your pack with a stronger, lighter Ram-Line stock molded from glassfilled Nylon 66. Tough weather elements have no effect on these precision stocks and they install in minutes without modification.
