GENERAL: Our one piece bolt action stocks are made of poly-carbonate and meant to drop in. Fit may effect accuracy, at this point you can glass bed action into stock using ACRAGEL sold by Brownells (516-623-5401). The barrels are meant to be free floated, meaning no part of the barrel is to touch the stock. If stock is warped then return it for a new one.

GENERAL: Our two piece stocks are made of glass-filled super toughened Nylon66. In some cases the forearms of the stocks tend to shrink during the cooling process. To fix this, customer can place an object into our forearm and widen it to the same width as the factory stock, then bake in oven at 300 for 15 min. Let cool. Or return to Ram-Line. This happens most to the Rem 1100 forearm stock. Some people mounting the 1187 into the 1100 stock will need the 870 mounting plate.

GENERAL: These stocks used to be the old Ram-Line folding stock but when the crime bill passed in Sept. of 1994 we pinned them.

BARREL CONTOURS

Ram-Line stocks have an opening of ¾” at the tip of the stock. The barrel channel can be opened up to 7/8” at the tip. If a customer needs to go wider than that, he will start grinding away the side wall. All stocks are meant to free float the barrel. This means that no part of the barrel is to touch the stock.

 721 uses Long Action & 722 uses Short Action. Minimal fitting, i.e., rear sight barrel band and safety clearance. May also need to remove a little material around floor plate area. Use a dremel tool or file - Some floor plates need to be widened. Use a dremel tool or file. Mod. 700 floor plate is longer than the 721 so there may be a gap in front & back in mag. box area.
 Some BDL’s have a lock tab on the floor plate that’s too long and will not let the floor plate close. This can be fixed by removing a little matl. from the stock where the tab needs to go in to close.




Rem 700 Detachable Mag.
At this time we have nothing specific for this rifle. You may be able to modify the Rem 700 BDL stock to work. We don’t know what the exact modifications would be.

NOTE: There were three short actions for the 788. We make stocks for two of them. To determine which is needed, measure the action screws center to center or get the caliber. We do not offer a stock to fit the 788 in 44 mag caliber.

 Some guns have three holes on gun. There is a marking inside the barrel channel of the stock for customers with this type of gun to drill out the third hole. May also have to open the barrel channel a little.
